Kristen Adams

Kristen is driven by her desire to empower and help others. Raised and educated in San Antonio, she graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, before attending law school at St. Mary’s University. There, she initially served as a staff writer and later became the Solicitations Editor for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice.

Before joining Espinoza & Brock PLLC in October 2024, Kristen spent her first five years practicing as a legal aid attorney. Fresh out of law school, she accepted a position with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) and moved to Laredo, Texas. During her three and a half years with TRLA, Kristen handled a variety of cases, from representing farm workers in federal court to advising and representing a civic group committed to securing safe drinking water in their community.

Kristen subsequently joined San Antonio Legal Services Association (SALSA), where she spent two years developing and leading SALSA’s Housing and Homelessness Program. While in this role, she provided direct representation and tailored counsel to 5,212 low-income individuals on tenants' rights and housing-related legal issues. As a result of her work at SALSA, Kristen was sworn in as a Bexar County Special/Temporary Justice Court Judge and presides over eviction dockets when needed.

Kristen is dedicated to leveraging her legal expertise to advocate effectively and strategically for her clients. She is grateful to work for a law firm that shares her values and is devoted to improving the lives of workers.
